Online backup has been in dismay over the last few years with companies offering backup, but at high prices. Although not all companies offering this service are expensive, these services offering cheap data backup are not suitable for the average consumer. With Google buying new hard drives for its vast network every minute, some think that Google may hold promise for this business sometime sooner rather than later.
Google has been offering many online consumer tools such as their own version of an Office Suite, and Gmail, recently out of beta. Google Wave also hold promise for the social networking industry, ‘integrating the integrated’. With hard drives multiplying in size every year, Google may just hop aboard that train.
